Training your Own Horse

Mary Rose writes that this book was written not so much for the backyard horse owner, but more to fulfil a need which has become apparent to me over the past few years.  There are so many young people today who take a few months' training course followed by an examination and then set out on a career in the horse industry.  Some work under qualified trainers and instructors, but many are forced to work on their own and they know only too well that they have hardly begun to scratch the surface of the knowledge that they need for their chosen profession.
Mary was writing for these young instructor/ trainers but also for anyone who aspires to train their own horse.
