Many books, informative and well-written, have been published on riding, but however well conceived and executed they all entail close study and memorisation by the pupil, who must digest large masses of text before he can practise what he reads a complicated and often perplexing process.
The object of this book is to reduce the amount of text to the minimum and to employ the maximum number of illustrations. In other words, it is a picture riding book designed so that the student may see instead of being obliged to use his imagination.
