Fundamentals of Dressage

Professor Alfred Knopfhart is a riding instructor and trainer of dressage horses.  In Fundamentals of Dressage, he explains the basic foundations of dressage according to the German school: purity of gait, collection based on looseness (losgelassenheit) and letting the aids through (durchlassigkeit), so that the horse, in balance, straight and on the lightest of contacts, develops maximum impulsion and performs all the movements willingly, obediently and with the utmost precision.
