Nuno Oliveira was taught by Maître Miranda, himself a pupil of François Baucher (1796–1873). Through his father, Manuel Jorge de Oliveira inherited a direct line to Baucher’s teachings — and for this instinctive, gifted, self-taught bullfighter, Baucher’s ideas became his greatest inspiration for working with horses.
