It is what it says on the cover - a wonderful collection of anecdotes from Ernest Andrews who grew up in Ashburton, spent many years as a teacher in various schools around New Zealand and was mayor of Christchurch from 1941 to 1950. A fascinating glimpse into past times with some wonderful old photographs.
